WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT APRIL

April flowers bring May showers.

Whoa. This April Fools thing will give me a headache. Let's scroll down.

Willy Dunne Wooters has a birthday on April first.

I know, baby. I can't believe it, either. You are still young and handsome, but anytime you need  reassurance, you just ask, baby.

Willy Dunne Wooters will not celebrate his birthday in any way. If I send him an e-card, he'll delete it without looking at it.

The babies have nothing to do with Willy Dunne Wooters. They're just cute.

Quite a few of you will do the A - Z blog thing during April. I will not join you. In fact, I hope to disappear.

I need to read.

I need to edit, but I don't edit with a red pen, or a pen of any other color. I edit on the computer.

I may pop up a few times during April, but

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  1. Aww, if you disappear, you'll be sorry I have your phone number. I'm just sayin'...

In fact, I feel a tune coming on.

  4. I plan on doing the A-Z Challenge, but mostly because it is being dedicated to Tina this year. Otherwise, I don't think I would have the time or energy.

  7. My brother was born on April fool's day, too. For months my parents told me I was getting a baby for my birthday, but he wanted his own.

  8. Is WDW a Jehovah's Witness? They don't celebrate birthdays either.

  9. I'm not participating in A-Z this year either. I'm going to try and write more and of course, work. I hope you enjoy disappearing for a while.

    1. I step into a cabinet and close the door. When someone opens it, I'm not there.

  10. Are you going to disappear into nothingness or are you going to run away to like a tropical island? I'll join you on the island. Not sure if I'm sold on the nothingness.

  12. I love the babies and their t-shirts. Very cute. I'd wish WDW a happy birthday, but if he won't listen to one from you, then I'll just pass as well. Good luck with your editing. I'm getting closer to Book #3

    1. Your writing is warm. Your writing is a cozy fire in the fireplace on a cold day. If you want to use that as a blurb to advertise your work, then please help yourself.

  13. Too funny about the birthday. It would make me tempted to buy a bunch of balloons and have them all over the house. I would love to hear the Pop, pop, pop sound:) Those babies are cute. If you are mostly off in April-have a great time off:)

    1. If I had balloons for WDW's birthday, he wouldn't come inside. I won't exactly be off. I have other stuff I need to do.

  15. Do you use a cloak when you disappear. I hear it's easier with a cloak.

Too bad he won't celebrate his birthday. But it's more cake for you!!

  16. My sister (three years younger) has a birthday on April 1! Didn't get to comment on the last post. I was just two courses short of an English major; have an English minor instead. You have a great job to be able to do editing on the computer! xo Nellie

  19. I am right there with you. Oh how I dislike the A-Z challenge. I also have a significant other whose birthday is in April. Which, great, I get to celebrate that person, but the pressure is overwhelming. I'll see you in May, or are you "gone till November?"

    1. I think I'll be here in May. I'd like to go far, far away, but without any money, I don't expect it to happen.
