I LOVE THIS MOVIE

A weepy conclusion:

Billy's dad holds back his tears. Michael's face, fills with joy and pride for his friend.

This movie gets me every time.

  3. Mrs. Shady would love this movie and I will tell her about it and watch it with her. Meanwhile, we are working our way through Last Tango in Halifax and loving it.

Have a wonderful week, dear Janie Junebug!

  4. Wouldn't you know - I've never seen this movie. But I do love to watch ballet. So sorry.

    1. The movie doesn't have a great deal of ballet--it's just at the end and when Billy starts to learn to dance. I think the young man who played Billy is more of a tap dancer.

  5. The movie Stand By Me gets me every time. I cried like a baby the first time I saw it, to the point my mom had to calm me down because it got to the point where I was hyperventilating.

    1. When you cry, if you take slow deep breaths it makes you stop.

  6. I have not seen this movie. Maybe movies are what I can do while I'm out of work for the next 4-6 weeks... maybe. :)

  10. There's nothing sweeter than a gorgeous dancer, even if his name isn't Billy Elliot.

    I love this movie, too!

  11. I might have to buy this one. Blue collar dad goes from very unsupportive to teary, as I recall. It's been a while. I'll Netflix it AGAIN to refresh my memory.

  12. Never seen it. It's one of the rare movies that a lot of people talk about that hasn't interested me at all.
