AM I A HERETIC? MORE OF THE SPANISH INQUISITION

Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,

Today I continue to answer the fifty questions passed on to me by two other bloggers. To see the first answers, click HERE, and for the second part, click HERE.

We are ready for Number . . .

17. Favorite Actor?

Jimmy Stewart. He first acted when he was in prep school––the same one The Hurricane attended.

Of course, they weren't there at the same time. When Jimmy Stewart went to The Mercersburg Academy, they didn't allow girls. When I worked at the nursing home, a resident said to me, I think it's a shame they let girls in there. Don't you think so? My reply: No. My daughter goes to school there, and she's kicking all the boys' butts.

Can you say valedictorian?

18. Favorite Color?

Pink. Like a new baby's sweet little bottom when it's not covered in poop.

Now that we've gotten to the bottom of things, we'll stop for the week. We can start again on Monday, when I'm a little less tired and I'm feelin' groovy because I've seen Willy Dunne Wooters, who has a very cute bottom.

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

    1. I like blue best for decorating a house, but there's something about a pink dress or a pink sweater . . .

  7. Hi, Janie Junebug! I'd have to say that Indiana, PA native Jimmy Stewart is also my favorite actor. My favorite movie of his is Otto Preminger's Anatomy of a Murder (1959), one of the greatest courtroom dramas ever made. Have you seen it?

Rest up and have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Janie!

    1. Anatomy of a Murder is excellent. I love Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, The Philadelphia Story, and so many more. Harvey always tickles me.

  8. Glad to know you are in the pink. And, for the record, girls belong wherever they choose to go. At least that's what this Bear thinks.

Blessings and Bear hugs, to you and Willy!

  9. Oh Janie - you've sent me off into the weekend with laughter. There's nothing like baby butts - but I'd really, secretly, like to peek at Johnny Depp's... (no she didn't write that!) Love Jimmy Stewart, but I don't feel the same about his butt. (Yes, well.) Take care.

    1. I have no interest in Jimmy Stewart naked. Johnny Depp naked is a different story. So is Ryan Gosling.

  10. Very cute baby butt pics, Janie. I've been reading your answers to the 50-question list you have. OMG! I wouldn't want to answer 10! Your bucket list was fun except for the romantically dying of TB. Read the Hyperion sci fi series if you want a good idea of what it was like for John Keats to die of TB! LOL! I really love Paul McCartney and the Beatles song Yesterday, and I will never forget hearing it for the first time when they performed on the Ed Sullivan show. All eight people in my family watched it on our tiny black and white TV in very rural Nova Scotia. Sending you energy vibrations ~ Have a great weekend!

    1. I know that TB is horrible. I just want to pretend to die dramatically. I remember how my sisters and I screamed the first time The Beatles were on Ed Sullivan. My mother smiled.

  16. It probably won't come as a surprise but I'm a guy and pink is one of my least favorite colors, unless it's on the cheeks of a cute little baby of course. I mean I'm not a monster.

  20. Jimmy Stewart was the BEST, or at least one of them

Ahhhh, chubby little baby butts. Oh so soft and kissable. There's nothing sweeter, except for... when they aren't. A few years ago, we went to Alabama to spend the Christmas holidays with our son and his family. Our DIL asked if it'd be okay if we stayed with the four kids while she made a quick trip to the store to pick up a gift she'd ordered for our son, and before she left, she warned me (probably with a teeny snicker) that sweet adorable Aaron hadn't had a bowel movement in several days. Aaron, by the way, eats a LOT of fruit. I'm not even sure if he waited until his, mother had pulled out of the driveway before he proceeded to fill his diaper with several days' worth of fruit-fueled yuk. I had no choice but to give him a bath. His mother, my sweet dear daughter-in-law, thought it was hilarious.

    Happy weekend, kiddo!
