After a scan, I think Lappie is herself again--except that one corner of her case will be held in place by duct tape.
It's going to take me a while to catch up on everything.

DeleteYay! So glad that your 'lappie' is back in working order! Hate when our technology lets us down. It's always such a blow. I just bought my mom a new laptop today because her current one is a piece of shit. She's about to give up on it and I told her she'd actually enjoy using a laptop if she had one that worked and didn't freeze and shut down constantly! We'll see how the surprise goes....

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Little Boy Nerd (otherwise known as Information Security), but I don't charge people $200 just to help them run a virus scan because I'm not an asshole.
