GRATITUDE TUESDAY: I'M EDITING

Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,

I'm grateful because I have a book to edit. I love editing. I get to correct errors.

Unfortunately, my posts may be rather sporadic till I'm finished with the book, and I might not get around to your blogs the way I usually do.

Please be patient with me, dear friends. I'm grateful for all of you, too.

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  1. I'm glad you've got one to edit. After three decades of grading and correcting essays, I thought I might go through withdrawal, not having anything to correct, but it hasn't happened to me yet! Take care, my friend~

    1. If I had taught for 30 years, I doubt if I'd want to edit now.

  3. Enjoying your work is so important -- have fun with it and we all will understand. Also, thanks for letting us know why we may not see you. Recently, many of my blogger friends have mysteriously disappeared, just stopped blogging without an explanation. It bugs me.

  6. Have fun editing. Maybe when I'm done with my next manuscript, I'll have you edit it. I bet you'd have fun ripping it to pieces. ;)

  10. Dear Janie, editing can be real labor. For line-editing I think one is mostly using the right brain; for copy-editing the left. And with the latter there's so much to look up to check facts and to find answers in a style manual. So do take breaks and be good to yourself! Peace.
