I CAN'T SEE THE LITTLE PICTURES!

Darlings,

I beg of you, if you have that thing on your blog that requires readers who want to comment to click on all the pictures of bodies of water or fish or construction vehicles, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take it off.

I don't object to the check mark in the box. That's a simple click, but I can't tell what's in those stupid damn pictures. If you don't get rid of it, then I can't comment on your blog.

If you want to get rid of me, and perhaps some of you do, then keep the "Verify" thing with the pictures.

I'm also irritated because a man came to my door a little while ago and said he was from Comcast and they'd sent me a letter last week and I was supposed to reply but they didn't hear from me. Who does he think he is? My Aunt Evelyn?

I said, IF I received a letter from Comcast, I threw it in the trash because I have contracts with other providers.

May I ask how much you pay for those? he inquired smarmily.

It's none of your business and get lost! I cried.

See what that Verify thing has done to me? I'm like a rabid dog, foaming at the mouth, and ready to bite.

Love, and only Love, NO INFINITIES,

Janie

    1. You don't have them. If you comment on a blog and the picture verification is enabled, then a bunch of tiny photos appear. To be able to publish your comment, it says something such as, Select all the pictures with construction vehicles. Then one must look at all the tiny photos and try to identify and click on all the photos with construction vehicles. I inevitably get a message that says I have to click on multiple pictures because I don't see all the pictures with construction vehicles. More little photos appear, and I am commanded to click on all the photos that have fish. By this point, I randomly click on photos while cursing loudly. So I've decided that if picture verification is enabled, then the hell with it. If people are that worried about the comments on their blogs, then they should use comment moderation as I do because I AM THE QUEEN OF THE WORLD.

    2. You have it. I think Blogger has been turning it on and not telling people. Try Googling HOW TO GET RID OF PICTURE VERIFICATION ON BLOGGER. I'll look, too.

    1. I'll check, but I'm pretty sure you don't, unless Blogger sneaked in to add it.

  7. How do you know if you have them? I certainly never added it. Is blogger being ...well, I can't say it in public. I haven't run across any blogs with it yet. Sounds quite annoying.

  9. Janie, you're just too funny for your own good! lol I won't answer the door for strangers period. We have Comcast. I really wish we could get another cable service in our area to put the squeeze on Comcast. They are just too pricey! Have a good weekend, dearie!
