SOFTLY AND TENDERLY JESUS IS CALLING

Dear Hearts . . . and Gentle People,

This version of Softly and Tenderly is from the movie Junebug. What a great title.

This film is the first time I remember seeing Amy Adams. She immediately became one of my favorite actresses.

Sing us on out, boys, and let's all have a good Sunday. It's okay if you're not a Lutheran.

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  1. Amy Adams became one of my favorite actresses five years earlier in Psycho Beach Party.

Have a great Sunday, dear Janie Junebug!

  3. Junebug is a good movie and a nice scene for today. I first saw Amy Adams in "Enchanted". She had a really nice singing voice.

    1. I saw Enchanted after Junebug. I couldn't believe what an adorable movie it was. I try to see everything Amy Adams is in.

    1. Yes. I have to sing along. I sang this to Willy Dunne Wooters on Sunday. He tolerated it quite nicely.

    1. I knew Amy Adams was someone to watch when I saw Junebug. I think she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award. She's been nominated a number of times and has yet to win.
