When I was younger so much younger than today,
I never needed computer help in any way.
But now those days are gone
Not having a computer is so done
Now I find I've lost my mind
A computer is needed for sure.
Help me if you can I'm feelin' down
And I do appreciate you being round
Help me get my computer off the ground
Or it will ki-i--il me.
Okay. Here's the problem. I look at stuff. It opens tabs. The tabs won't close.
This problem occurred last week. I managed to look up what to do to fix it. It said click on this little box in the right corner and click on more tools and click on clear browsing data.
I did that last week. The tabs closed.
Now it's doing the same thing again, but the tabs won't close.
He-e-elp me!
You probably have a virus that you'll need a professional to eradicate. It's exactly what happened to me in the great computer meltdown a couple of months ago. I struggled through for the first couple of days, then the malicious, grinning, screaming tab opening evilness compounded to tell me that by agreeing to uninstall itself I was agreeing to install a dozen more little devils. It required professional help. End of my advice. Hope you recover.
ReplyDeleteI hate computers.
DeleteDo you want me to have my son call you? He's very good!!
ReplyDeleteI don't want help over the phone. He needs to show up here to help me.
DeleteGrab it hard by its edges and toss it through a window from as high up as you can get. Sometimes its the only way.
ReplyDeleteShould I yell "Fuuuuuuuuuck" while I do it?
DeleteWish I could help, but I'm a dunce when it comes to computers.
ReplyDeleteThen send me the money to pay for having mine fixed. Ho ho!
DeleteGo to Kim Kommando's site and get a recommended free anti-virus program and run it, pronto. It is a way to rule out viruses (hopefully). You can always go to Task Manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and close programs/applications one by one. Wish I could fix it from here, buddy. :-(

ReplyDeleteI would have no idea how to help since I know squat about computers. I call my ex and he fixes the issues
ReplyDeleteIf only I knew the difference between html and PCP. I'm not going to be much help. I'm the person who abandoned his old blog when there was a single issue. I wish you luck in your pursuit of solutions.
ReplyDeleteI already used Task Manager. It won't remove the bad, bad, pretend Norton task bar. I went to Kim Kommando and ran something. She wanted me to pay her money, like the money that comes from a piece of plastic. I said no, but the computer is working for the moment. I'll see what happens as the day goes on. I have real Norton, and it should be protecting me.
