Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,
I have only a moment to write to you, dear ones. S.K. Anthony of http://www.skanthony.com/ has shown up at my door and demanded that I go to a coffee chat with her at Lynda Dietz's Easy Reader.
I gather we're going to talk about editing. Please visit us there, and would someone bring a coat for me?
I don't have one and I've heard they have this awful thing called snow.
Infinities of love,
Janie Junebug, now visiting Easy Reader
Have fun Janie!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Beth!
DeleteWe gave you two coats already . . . are you still crying that you're cold? You are the funniest Queen of Grammar, thanks for allowing me to kidnap you ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't get warm, but being kidnapped is quite an honor.
DeleteIf you get kidnapped, I think it's a rule they have to keep you warm...
ReplyDeleteIf it isn't a rule, then it should be.
DeleteI thought we were going to discuss Robert Louis Stevenson. Have fun. Did you ever find a coat?
ReplyDeleteHA! They wrapped a blanket around me.
DeleteAfter this winter, I bet you most people in the South will be buying coats.
ReplyDeleteQuite a few people here have coats, and they wear them with gloves and hats when it gets down to about 60! Since I'm so tough, I sold my coats on ebay.
DeleteI hope you don't turn into an icicle along the way! I'll stop by to make sure you arrive safely.
ReplyDeleteI survived the trip!
DeleteOh wouldn't that be great?? If we could all really meet up at the coffee shop and talk instead of type?
ReplyDeleteYes, but we need to meet at the coffee shop in Florida or some other place that's warm.
ReplyDeleteNo worries - the coffee will keep you warm! I'm coming over for some right now.
ReplyDeleteI only like frozen coffee.
DeleteIf she's looking for ransom money, count me out.
ReplyDelete-andi
No one is stupid enough to kidnap me and demand ransom money.
DeleteI visited the scene of the kidnapping, and found it to be a very fun read! Thanks to all involved.
ReplyDeleteLong time no see.
