VERY INSPIRING BLOGGER AWARD

Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,

About a million years ago before I was busy editing and lots of other people were AtoZing, two bloggers nominated me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award.

At long last, I accept.

I thank Cherdo of Cherdo on the Flipside and Veronica Rundell of V's Reads.

The Rules for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award:

1. Thank the person who nominated you, and link to their blog.

2. Display the award logo.

3. Nominate 15 other bloggers (more or less) and provide a link where they may be found.

4. Go to their blog, leave a comment to let them know they have been nominated.

5. Mention three things that inspired you the most during the past few weeks.

Nominate fifteen other bloggers? Uh, uh, most people don't accept awards, or they've already received this award. Let me see if I can find some sucker inspiring blogger who might accept.

I nominate:

1. A Life Examined

2. Baiba's Blog

3. 1 Making A Difference

4. dcrelief

5. Words Incorporated

Okay, that's five, and five is a multiple of fifteen, and it's a prime number, so I think we can stop there.

Now I'm supposed to mention three things that inspired me the most during the past few weeks.

1. Franklin (he's not really a thing--he's a person, only better)

His kindness inspires me because he will
drive me anywhere I need to go.

2. Willy Dunne Wooters (he's not really a thing except when I objectify him)

Need I say more?

He's a peeping tom, and I love him for it.

Thanks for the award. I doubt if I inspire anyone to do anything other than take off their clothes.

Infinities of love,

Janie Juneubug

  3. About how many people do you estimate you can inspire to take off their clothes at one time? That is a superpower. I can inspire people to put more clothes on and gain distance from me. Does that make me your arch nemesis?

    1. Quit trying to be my arch nemesis. I already told you NO.

  4. Congrats! I think I need a gosling candle.

    1. What is a gosling candle? You don't mean the candle with the visage of Willy Dunne Wooters, do you?

  5. Hi, dear Janie! Your blog award is well deserved. Congratulations! I feel honored to be lumped in with Franklin and the Wooters as someone who inspires you. (I could have sent you a better picture of myself. That one was taken on a bad hair day.)

Once again, congratulations. You are an inspiration to us all, dearie!

    1. You are not lumped in. Last is never least--unless it's the Olympics. And you do inspire me. You make me want to be a better person.

    1. It doesn't take much to get that man out of his clothes. I swear every time I turn around he has a naked butt. I'm not sure that came out right. Maybe it should be every time I turn around he has something else that's naked. TMI!

  11. Mazel tov!! To paraphrase Sally Field, "They like you--they really like you!!" And so do I.

  12. Congrats on the award! I did not know Mr. Wootters was on these Dollarama candles everywhere and that Shady is actually Cary Grant. Does your doggie volunteer to drive people around because I need a lift:)

    1. I'm sorry. Franklin is allowed to drive only in our neighborhood. No interstate. Maybe that should be a rule for the Wooters man, too.

  13. Congrats. As for WDW, I had no idea he was so saintly.

I know I've been away for a long long time, but I'm gonna finish my last exam tomorrow and then hopefully I'll get back to my blog! I missed you all!

  16. Woo, I was listed first! You are inspiring because of the no-nonsense, individual way you live :)

    1. You seem a nice, interesting guy. I wouldn't say I have a no-nonsense way of living. I lean toward the ridiculous.

  17. Ah, Janie, though you've never inspired me to take off my clothes - I often am inspired to chase after butterflies! Thank you for including me!

    Congratulations to you!!
