Dear Battle of the Banders . . . and Loved Ones,
I'm sorry but I'm not going to get around to visiting your posts this evening. I hope I will be more productive tomorrow (Tuesday, June 16, 2015).
I couldn't sleep last night. This morning I had my yearly physical. The doctor I was seeing moved, so I made an appointment with her replacement. It didn't go well.
I slept this afternoon, and now I feel so sluggish that I think someone should pour salt on me.
As God is my witness, I will correct grammar again!
Infinities of love,
Janie Scarlett O'Hara

Get some rest. Hope you feel much better tomorrow. I've been having sleeplessness problems lately. Last week when I went for my yearly exam I had the doctor prescribe me some sleep aid. Not a fan of drugged sleep, but I feel like sometimes it might be worth a shot.

Tossing It Out
I am a night owl, but sometimes I get my days and nights turned around completely. Then it's difficult to function when I have appointments.
DeleteBe sure to read my post for today, even if you do it tomorrow. Feel better!!
ReplyDeleteAs God is my witness, I shall visit you.
DeleteSadly, Meryl Streep is wrong: chocolate is the greatest joy in life! :-) I am all doctored out, but I still had to go to one this morning myself. :-( I hope you find the right doctor for you. I think I need to get to sleep early tonight myself after the weekend I had! Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteIt occurred to me that I should ask Hot Young Anthony who lives next door for the name of a good doctor. He is a nurse practitioner--a hot nurse practitioner.
DeleteHi, dear Janie Junebug!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to learn that you're out of it tonight. Get some rest. Maybe you'll feel more reproductive tomorrow. :)
In your reply to my BOTB comment you wrote:
<< You are quite astute. >>
Was that a typo? Are you sure you didn't mean to write "You are quite a stooge."?
Get a good night's sleep, dearie. I'll be thinking about you. e-me if you wanna chat.
No, I think the stooges are related to you by marriage, though.
DeleteHope you're feeling better soon. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I just need my rest.
DeleteI can't find a doctor as good as the one I had in Illinois. It's all his fault for being so great.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're sleeping right this moment as I type these words. Be well soon, kiddo.
ReplyDeleteAwk! Me, too! I slept three hours and have been up since 3:30am. Dozed off for half an hour in my chair, but am still awake at nearly midnight. I am off to bed right now! Sorry things didn't go well with the new doctor. It's sometimes hard to find a good one. :( Nite-nite!
ReplyDeleteIt is very difficult to miss our doctor and to visit another one. They need to study us from the first. Prayers for you...
ReplyDeleteFeel better soonest... I will make no comments on doctors tonight, lest my irate inner sourpuss reign supreme.
ReplyDeleteI've been a slug lately. I think it's a virus on the Internet that's going around.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope that you recoop quickly and that you find a doctor you are comfortable with. A doctor is so important to love and trust!
ReplyDeleteI hate to have to change doctors. Luckily we are moving to a house in the same town, so we don't have to change doctors again. Hope you are feeling better. You are probably exhausted from having to go over all your medical history with the new doc!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, Janie. Take care.
ReplyDeleteNew doctors are the pits, but if he/she is in the same office, at least you don't have to re-do your history. I hate that. When you squeeze everything in your life into one paragraph you always come off as a hypochondriac or accident prone (I'm neither - just active).
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some rest.
ReplyDeleteBut a good night sleep is the best. I have found this out the hard way.
After not sleeping for over 35 years it has finally destroyed me. I now sleep with an oxygen treatment every night and just waking up with no morning headache it wonderful. I actually have hope again.
Feel better soon.

Hey Janie,
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a nice, decent sleep since posting this. When you are used to one doctor, it can be tough seeing a different one. I found that by putting my new doctor at ease, they were much more comfortable with my diagnosis of them.
Grammar anarchy, is the new anarchy.
Take care and rest,
Gary
Hope you are feeling better now finding a good doctor can be so difficult
ReplyDeleteI hate it when I don't sleep at night. I'm just wrecked the next day. Feel better!
ReplyDeleteSorry you're not feeling well! Get better soon!
ReplyDeleteUgh! Heading back to your post from today to find out the update!
