GOOD DAY SUNSHINE

Dear Hearts and Gentle People,

You shan't see me for a while. I must edit, pay loads of attention to Franklin and Penelope, and continue to clean my house. Cleaning represents a never ending battle. As soon as I finish cleaning my house, the first part that I cleaned is dirty. As soon as I finish the laundry, more laundry is in the hamper.

Admittedly, I am fussy.

I hope to see you for The Battle of the Bands on October 21st. If I can't make it, I'll let you know.

A gift for you: a better photo of Penelope. Less fear in the eyes, perhaps?

a new love

Sing us out, please, Paul.

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  1. Good morning, dear Janie! (Yawning) Oh my...it's time for me to rise and shine. I think I see the sun coming up over the horizon even as I write this (or maybe it's one of them there ghostly orbs).

Penelope does look happier and more calm. I hope those noisy workers soon pack up for good.

I have a BOTB starting tomorrow, dear Janie. You have 7 days to vote and I hope you can find 5 minutes during that span to come over and see me. Remember Sid Vicious? He isn't in this battle. Then why did I bring it up? No reason.

I think somebody's sleepy (me), so I will be saying good night. Have a great week with your canine companions!

    1. How can it be time for BOTB already? Has time sped up?

No Sid? Who do you bother me?

How many more questions may I ask?

    1. They stick pretty tightly to the office as I work. They are glued to the area around me.

  4. I know how it goes, Janie! I will probably be taking a hiatus myself soon to work on my book.

Enjoy your new adventures with Penelope. She is a beauty!

    1. We thank you. Penelope must learn she is a beauty. Then she'll have more self-confidence.

  5. Penelope is so damn cute! I feel your pain with the cleaning. It's so unsatisfying. "Well, it's clean now, but in a couple of days, we're right back to where we were." Have fun editing...presuming they're good manuscripts.

  8. Love Good Day Sunshine! Great way to start my day.
I hate housecleaning! Hate it. I vacuum constantly because of the dogs. But I just hired a maid service to come in every 2 weeks. I'm excited. I just hope I can continue to afford it. It's so nice to have everything so nice and clean: in the corners and behind the furniture which I don't always get to...
Great picture of Penelope!! She's so cute!

  12. Penelope looks happier. Less nervous. Gradual process, I'm sure. She is a pretty girl.
Loved the video with the music. They look so very young now, don't they? And two of them are gone already. The years fly by too quickly. :)

    1. Paul and Ringo are old men. John's death hit me hard. With George, we knew it was coming, but it still hurt.

    2. John was really sad for me, too, because I had been a John fan since I firsat saw them on Ed Sullivan when I was 12. All the girls I knew loved Paul...and he is sweet...but I had such a crush on John.
