Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,
I can't embed today's video discovery, but you can see it on my Facebook page here:

Oscar the cat begs for a cricket to eat and gives a high five in exchange.
I had a great Mother's Day. I hope you did, too, whether or not you're a mom. Willy Dunne Wooters and Favorite Young Man took me out to dinner.
Favorite Young Man finished painting my bathroom. Photos will be forthcoming.
I'm sorry I'm not back to my regular blogging and reading schedule. I'm still editing, and I have a lot going on around the house.
God bless and see ya soon.
Infinities of love,
Janie Junebug
I'm glad you had a great Mother's Day. Yay for Oscar the cat.
ReplyDeleteI think the kitty high five is pretty clever.
DeleteMiss you, Janie....but I will appreciate it when you are editing my next book! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI know I'll enjoy it.
DeleteI'll be waiting with baited breath--maybe I'll catch something!!
ReplyDeleteDo you want a cricket, too?
DeleteYay for Favorite Young Man and that painting project! Sounds like a great Mother's Day week-end! Take care of yourself! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteIt was a joyous weekend.
DeleteHi, Janie! It's a good think Oscar isn't your kitty. Any crickets he ever got to eat would have first been sprayed with poison and squished with a slipper.
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled to know you had such a nice Mother's Day, dear friend!
Thank you. Strangely, I have never seen a cricket in Florida. Plenty of palmetto bugs lately. Not as many lizards now that it's warm outside.
DeleteHappy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Birgit.
DeleteWell, Infinities of love right back at you !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Take care. Good hearing from you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stephen. I get to your blog whenever I can.
DeleteI'm not your friend on Facebook, so I can't see your awesome video. I think it's set to private. Which is sad, because I love high-fiving cats.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome to send me a friend request (I'm sorry it didn't occur to me that not everyone could see the video), or you can go to the following address:

Oscar is brilliant.
I'm glad your men treated you well on Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the editing.
The editing is going extremely well. I think I become a better editor with each book.
DeleteGlad to hear you had a good Mother's Day, painting got finished, and dinner was shared. Sounds sweet! :)
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely. Willy Dunne Wooters said that the three of us dining together was like having a family.
DeleteI wish you'd hurry up with the bathroom, I have to pee.
ReplyDeleteI have two bathrooms. One is always available so quitchyerbitchin'.
DeleteEdit to your heart's content! Don't let anyone rule your schedule!
ReplyDeleteI hope all it well at Casa de Janie. I feel a song coming on...
Welcome to La Casa de Janie. Such a lovely place (such a lovely place). Plenty of room at La Casa de Janie. Anytime of year, you can find Janie here.
DeleteI didn't see the video on your Facebook page, but I sent a friend request. Glad you've been doing lots of editing!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I forgot about the Facebook page being private. I accepted your friend request (of course), so now you can see Oscar high five.
DeleteSo glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day, Janie.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeletePleased to hear you had a good Mother's Day, as did I more or less, Tim was being Tim and complaining about money and annoyed me when he told me we have to cut back and I said I don't spend money willy nilly and he said you bought those leggings, (his present to me for Mother's Day) and he didn't wish me a happy mother's day not once during the whole day.
ReplyDeleteI guess we just have to take Tim the way he is and know he's a good guy at heart. Willy Dunne Wooters can be quite grumpy. The Hurricane didn't even email me on Mother's Day. It hurt my feelings. Favorite Young Man was very sweet, though.
DeleteYikes, Janie!
ReplyDeleteJust like Sherry, I could see the video on your "Farcebook" page. Would you accept a friend request from shy and humble me?
Come on Oscar, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar is ready to lick the computer screen!
I love your confidence in apologising for not being back to your regular blogging schedule. I apologise for actually doing a blog post!
Happy belated North American type Mother's Day.
Gary :)
Thank you! No apologies necessary. I love to blog, but editing helps pay the bills.
DeleteSounds like you had a happy Mother's Day! I'm in and out on blogging and Facebook, so I certainly understand what you're saying. Have a good one, JJ!
