GRATITUDE TUESDAY: THE BEST IS YET TO COME

Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,

Soon I shall reach my one thousandth post. I'd like to do something special to celebrate.

I'd also like to find a few new followers. I love the folks I meet through blogging.

If I can figure out rafflecopter, I think I'll have a giveaway. I like the kind of giveaways in which one can get increasing numbers of entries based on the level of participation.

I have some cool prizes in mind. I want to show you all how grateful I am to you for following me by giving out some early Christmas presents.

So stay tuned for more details.

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

P.S. If I can't figure out how to do a giveaway, then never mind. Forget I ever wrote this post.

    1. I think your posts are written with considerably more time and effort that most of mine.

  10. There is noting I need from a give-a-way. So I suggest you post a video of you dancing nude around a cake with a 1,000 candles burning.

  11. Hey Janie, I went for years with less that 50 followers. Then little by little it began to grow. It's about being consistent. Providing good ideas, and visiting other bloggers. I'm on a plateau right now. I lost a follower today, but that happens from time to time. I haven't gained any new ones in a few months. But I keep chipping away.
Giveaways can also be fun :)

    1. I had months and months of two followers and then 13 for the longest time. When I don't post regularly because I'm sick or I'm editing, I notice that people fall away. They don't necessarily stop following me. They just don't bother to visit. You're so good about posting everyday.

    1. Not really. Each post takes me 15 - 20 minutes. I learned to write quickly when I was a reporter.

  14. OMG! You made me go look, of course, and I have 1827!! I pay no attention and had no clue I had posted that many. If you can figure out how to do one of those raffly things I will admire your technological savvy. Obviously, I figured out how to post blogs, but I don't know much beyond that--LOL! :)

  16. I have a bunch of stuff I'll never use that's been thrown in the new basement. I'd be happy to donate it to the cause.

Of course, then I wouldn't enter the drawing...

    Congrats on the almost-1000!!!!!

    1. That's very generous of you, but perhaps you could donate to Goodwill or The Salvation Army and not send me your crap to give away to unsuspecting readers.
