Soon I shall reach my one thousandth post. I'd like to do something special to celebrate.
I'd also like to find a few new followers. I love the folks I meet through blogging.
If I can figure out rafflecopter, I think I'll have a giveaway. I like the kind of giveaways in which one can get increasing numbers of entries based on the level of participation.
I have some cool prizes in mind. I want to show you all how grateful I am to you for following me by giving out some early Christmas presents.
So stay tuned for more details.
Infinities of love,
Janie Junebug
P.S. If I can't figure out how to do a giveaway, then never mind. Forget I ever wrote this post.
Almost at your one thousandth post, how fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYay for the giveaway :D
(though I'll be sure to forget all about it, if I must lol)
Thank you for your willingness to forget.
DeleteLove,
Janie
Ha! That's such a sweet thought. I hope it works out. If not, I still like you! Congratulations on 1000 posts!
ReplyDeleteI'm on #993 today.
DeleteLove,
Janie
That's quite a milestone, kiddo, but you don't have bribe us with a give-away. We ALREADY like you.
ReplyDeleteI'm not bribing you. I'm bribing fresh meat.
DeleteHi Janie .. congratulations on getting in that direction ... 1,000 posts = I bet there aren't many bloggers who've done that many ...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll work out the rafflecopter - but I can't help you I'm afraid .. no idea at all!
Cheers Hilary
If I can't figure it out, I bet I'll find someone who can help me. Bloggers assist one another.
DeleteA thousand posts is impressive. I'm nowhere near that number.
ReplyDeleteI think your posts are written with considerably more time and effort that most of mine.
DeleteI'm approaching 500. I will do absolutely nothing. Congrats on 1000. I will try and read them all.
ReplyDeleteYou must be so bored.
DeleteI am close to my 1000th post on blogger too. I will be interested in what you do to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteIt might be partly related to my editing. Plans whirl in my brain.
DeleteThat is an awesome thing to celebrate and I think more people should meet you. Glad I got back in time for your 1000th.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see you. I hope your writing is going well.
Delete1000 posts is an amazing milestone! Congratulations! I've barely cleared 200 and wonder if I'll even reach 300. Love your giveaways- hope it works out~
ReplyDeleteYou can't stop blogging. I would miss you too much. You will reach 300 and more.
DeleteThere is noting I need from a give-a-way. So I suggest you post a video of you dancing nude around a cake with a 1,000 candles burning.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably set my hair on fire and turn into a human torch. But thanks for your interest.
DeleteHey Janie, I went for years with less that 50 followers. Then little by little it began to grow. It's about being consistent. Providing good ideas, and visiting other bloggers. I'm on a plateau right now. I lost a follower today, but that happens from time to time. I haven't gained any new ones in a few months. But I keep chipping away.
ReplyDeleteGiveaways can also be fun :)

I had months and months of two followers and then 13 for the longest time. When I don't post regularly because I'm sick or I'm editing, I notice that people fall away. They don't necessarily stop following me. They just don't bother to visit. You're so good about posting everyday.
DeleteI can't even visualize writing 1000 posts!!
ReplyDeleteHow old will you be when you reach 1,000 posts? I ask because I know you'll do it.
DeleteA thousand posts? You've been a very busy lady!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Bear hugs, Janie!
Not really. Each post takes me 15 - 20 minutes. I learned to write quickly when I was a reporter.
DeleteOMG! You made me go look, of course, and I have 1827!! I pay no attention and had no clue I had posted that many. If you can figure out how to do one of those raffly things I will admire your technological savvy. Obviously, I figured out how to post blogs, but I don't know much beyond that--LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteIt took me forever to figure out how to photos in my blogs. And videos – oi! That was tough. But look at you with your 1827! You are the winner and champion of the world.
DeleteToo late to back out now, Janie!! You have us hooked in!! lol
ReplyDelete1000 posts....that IS a milestone coming up! Stay with it!
Oh, there's no getting rid of me now.
DeleteI have a bunch of stuff I'll never use that's been thrown in the new basement. I'd be happy to donate it to the cause.
ReplyDeleteOf course, then I wouldn't enter the drawing...
Congrats on the almost-1000!!!!!

That's very generous of you, but perhaps you could donate to Goodwill or The Salvation Army and not send me your crap to give away to unsuspecting readers.
