copper spiral earrings |
I don't have a movie for you this week, but perhaps I have something even better: beautiful handmade jewelry.
I've always said Dr. X was good for one good thing: jewelry. So I consider myself at least a bit of an expert on jewelry, and I especially like unique, handmade products such as Katie Grimm's.
I'd like to show you a few of my favorite pieces from her etsy shop:
Long white feather with Carnelian gemstone and copper wire. |
In addition to her etsy shop, Katie has more unique creations on her Facebook page --including bracelets for babies and young children (wouldn't that be great to have at a baptism or christening?) --at www.facebook.com/
Katie is also graciously offering us a discount of 15% on a purchase with coupon code blog 15.
You can even email Katie at grimm2005@gmail.com to make special requests for a unique piece of jewelry that reflects your personality. Katie's jewelry will make beautiful gifts, so this post is definitely not for the ladies alone.
I wish you some happy jewelry shopping this weekend.
Infinities of love,
Janie Junebug

Those jewels look really nice, I love earrings, I'm actually thinking about punching some more holes in my ears....It's so nice of you to do this post, I'll definitely check her out. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend
xoxo
I have two holes in each ear and would like to get a third so I can wear more earrings!
DeletePretty! Obviously she does good (and innovative)work!
DeleteYou are an intelligent Old NFO.
DeleteShe does nice work. For me though the only jewelery I seem to wear these day is that which I make myself.
ReplyDeleteBoomer, I think it's understandable that you would wear your own jewelry!
Deletethese are really nice. i like the first one a lot. i love wire work too. should start making jewellry again.
ReplyDelete:)
I wish I could make something like that. I'm a fumble fingers.
DeleteShe's very talented. Even rings. I like the collection.
ReplyDeleteMe, too! I'm definitely buying something(s).
DeleteGorgeous jewelry! I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSame to you, Stephanola!
DeleteDear Janie, I've gotten behind in reading blogs and so have missed your announcement of Hurricane's birthday. I have the day was a glad one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling us about these lovely jewelry and the discount. Peace.
I think The Hurricane not only had a happy birthday. She had a good week.
DeleteI can never look at copper jewelry without thinking of my mother. She was a great believer in its healing properties. Can't say that I ever noticed it kicking arthritis pain to the curb, but I wore the bracelets just to make her happy. My favorite jewelry belonged to my grandmother at one time... a silver snake ring and bracelet. Very sexy looking. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine her ever wearing them, though.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind comment regarding my mother-in-law. I do appreciate it.
I love snake rings and bracelets. Wish I had one! I guess your grandmother was young and sexy once upon a time.
DeleteThose are pretty! I really like the copper spirals and the key. Yes, I agree, the key is magical!
ReplyDeleteThe key also reminds me of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe."
DeleteOh wow! That key necklace is my fave! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThen you should get it with the discount. And I forgot to mention, I'm not profiting from anything that you buy. I was pleased to blog about Katie's jewelry because it's so pretty.
DeleteThose are very pretty. I like the key one best.
