WHAT! MONDAY

Gentle Readers,

I think you'll find today's What? Monday question enjoyable. Drum roll, please.

WHAT IS THE FUNNIEST MOVIE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN?

As usual, it's o.k. to give more than one answer. It's difficult to pick just one of anything.

Maybe I tend to enjoy somewhat lowbrow humor, but my favorite movie for quite some time was Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Then last year Get Him To The Greek came out and I fell seriously in love with Russell Brand. His Aldous Snow topped Austin Powers.

However, I also enjoy movies that aren't so in your face funny. I absolutely adore The Royal Tennenbaums. Everybody in that movie is hilarious.

O.K. It's your turn to answer.

Infinities of love,

Lola

  1. LOL! Great picks! I LOVE "The Hang Over," "Rat Race," and "The Due Date."

  2. The Devil in Mrs Jones, Titanic, Bowling for Columbine, or anything by Michael Moore because they are all so phony and filled with lies. I can't help but laugh at their absurdity.

  3. The Money Pit was a scream, Blazing Saddles and Airplane were funny too.

  4. Young Frankenstein, Lethal weapon, Eulogy, Airplane. Joe Dirt (yes, I'm ashamed.)

  5. Superbad and Bridesmaids were pretty funny...that's all I can think of at the moment.

  6. Never seen Porky's. Seemed too gross. Love Due Date. Want to see Hang Over, but haven't heard of Rat Race. Never heard of The Devil in Mrs. Jones. Think Titanic is boring. Couldn't get into Blazing Saddles, but I know men love the farting around the campfire scene. Like The Money Pit and Airplane. LOVE Young Frankenstein. Never heard of Eulogy. Heard of Joe Dirt (I'm concerned about you Suz). Superbad is hilarious. Don't think I saw Bridesmaids but I probably will. Thanks for all the answers. Very interesting.

  7. The Devil In Mrs Jones was (is) a 60's/70's porn flick that was very popular at the time. No Oscar's but plenty of woodies.

  8. Eulogy is worth looking for. Not well known, but with an all-star cast. Near the end, there's a scene involving a casket, a pond and flaming arrows. Do yourself a favor - watch it!
