    1. How can anyone not love Randy? The people who don't are afraid of the truth.

  3. UGH. I am so tired of politics. Sadly, I live in a house with a political junkie. It's like his crack.

    1. One of the things I miss about Sweet Cheeks is discussing politics. I wouldn't describe myself as a political junkie, but I care--very much.

    1. It's impossible to go anyplace without wondering if you'll be shot.

  5. These are so spot on and, yeah, thanks to Randy Rainbow I’ve been humming that tune for days now.

  6. There is bitter and tragic irony in much of this. I wonder how many Americans understand how their country is viewed from outside their borders.

    1. I know our status went way down with trump in office, and I'm sure the world wonders why we don't do something to keep all these mass shootings from happening, and why we allow women to be treated so badly. So many of us want gun control and want legal abortion, but too many of us do not vote for the people who will do what we want.

  7. Randy Rainbow is BACK, baby, and he's even MORE hilarious! Love this video parody! And you topped it off with a great lineup of memes and LOLs too, especially that tweet from Congressman Bill Foster!

  10. Terry is going around humming "Speaker of the House." Loved the Bill Foster tweet. I laughed all the way through this, but I almost cried. Our country is so messed up. I hope you are enjoying your weekend, despite the mess we're in. Hugs to you.

  11. I had to look up George Santos. (Sorry for my ignorance.) Your country and ours - up the creek.

  12. Great post, thanks for assembling all this for us to think on. Sadly, the speaker is also my congressman. That's what I got for moving to the country in Kern County also the place of his hometown, Bakersfield.

  15. I just don't understand the need for military style weapons, unless you are in the military.

    1. You don't understand, and neither do I, because it doesn't make any sense. People don't need those weapons unless they're planning on taking out a crowd of people.

  16. Oh, no! Earworm is now wiggling. 'Speaker of the house..."

  17. I don't know why anyone needs military-grade weapons. We definitely need a better system regarding gun ownership.

Thanks for the comment about my next book! It was accepted (City of Bones—you may recall it as Art Thieves in Paris, which you edited.) I'll reach out soon about editing the next one—Shield of Athena.)

    1. You're welcome. I'm glad you're publishing again. No one needs those weapons. We'll never have enough mass shootings to make some people accept limits on guns.
