EACH FOR EQUAL

Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,

Congratulations on waking up to celebrate

International Women's Day!  hint: Did you change your clocks last night? Please remember that it's Daylight Saving Time, not Savings Time and not Saving's Time and not parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.

I feel a bit militant.

But not in a bad way.

In a productive way.

I wish you a beautiful Sunday!

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  2. A Very Happy International Women's Day to you too. And to all women where ever they are.
Our clocks go back in about three weeks time. I am looking forward to it. I am tired of getting up in the dark.

    1. That's saying a lot considering I haven't taken a lot of trips outside of the country, but as God is my witness, I will get to England. I will wander the moors in Yorkshire.

  4. Wait, let's me get this straight. It is International Woman's Day and it is on a day that is one hour LESS? That is about right!

    1. I'm not in a rush for summer because I'll melt, but seeing the sun is nice.

  7. I grew up hearing "savings" from everybody up here. Could have been a Minnesota thing, I suppose. But it is ingrained into my thoughts and hard to change in my old age. Sounds wrong to my ear without the other "s"--LOL! But you charge on, my friend. :)

    1. I've heard everyone all over the country say savings time. I learned that it's saving from an episode of the show VEEP.

  8. I have always called it daylight saving no s on the word.
Women are equal to men, sadly some don't realise it.

  9. Happy Day in all ways, Janie Junebug!

I am thankful to the women who went before me, smoothing the way.

I am not at all thankful about losing an hour of sleep. Wah!

  10. Why do I think every day is Woman's Day? Maybe because I think we are superior? ;)

  11. Happy International Women's day!!! I was bummed it was on a Sunday this year, but I still sent out messages to my team. I saw the best meme on Facebook, but I'm not sure how to share on here.
