RACHEL HOSTS MEGAN

Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,

Please make a special effort to visit my blog child Rachel today at When a Lion Sleeps, Let It Sleep.

Rachel has a guest post by Megan, who is transgender. You can also read Rachel's interview with Megan by clicking HERE.

No matter how much we know, we can always learn more.

This framed flag from Italy hangs on my living room wall. PACE means PEACE.

And Willy Dunne Wooters says:

Fab Four, will you please sing us out?

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  1. Yay for Rachel and Megan and Janie (did ya catch that equal opportunity "yay?" That's how I'm rollin').

  2. Second time today I've heard that great Beatles song. What a classic and always worth considering the message.

  8. A great song that goes well with the topic. I wish every person would be like Rachel and truly open their arms to every person no matter their sex, religion, beliefs..you name it.

  9. Dear Janie, both you and I have worked out so much in our lives. One of the joys of growing older is looking back and seeing how everything did work out and how friends were part of that. Peace.

  11. My comment keeps disappearing! Argh! I visited the blog that you recommended, JJ. It was excellent. We can't change our views or other's views if we don't communicate. I am so disgusted with the hate and bigotry spouted by some "Christians" that I find it hard to enter a church. I have always liked that Beatles song. They look so young and wholesome! Have a lovely day!

    1. It drives me nuts when my comments disappear. John makes such funny faces in those early "videos." Paul says that John would always try to make them laugh.

    1. Good for you. People sometimes ask me, Is that for Pace, Florida? They pronounce it with a long A and a soft C. I have no idea where Pace, Florida, is, so I tell them what it means.

And how fortunate is Rachel to have you as her mother, Janie!!

  14. Awesome song! It's in my current's book playlist ;)

I'm all for peace. I say love and let others love! In the world as it is, isn't that better to spread around than hatred? Some people make me sad. But your flag is making me smile, so yay for that! :D
