WICKET HAS PARVOVIRUS

Emma . . . and Mr. Knightley,

This is Wicket:

Isn't he a beauty?

His family found him wandering the streets, all alone and in need of care. He's very young.

Before he could get his shots, he came down with Parvovirus––a very serious condition.

I thought it couldn't hurt to mention that a GoFundMe campaign has been set up to take care of little Wicket's medical expenses. I donated. I'm not asking you to do so. I'm merely mentioning that poor little Wicket is in need.

Check out the GoFundMe campaign to help Wicket beat the Parvovirus.

You can read more about Wicket and see him with his dad at http://goo.gl/1UQwv8.

Infinities of love to Wicket and the good people who have taken him in,

Janie Junebug

    1. Dumping a dog demonstrates evil in the world. Rescuing a dog demonstrates great goodness.

  3. Hi, Janie! At first I thought you were introducing your new dog, Franklin's new brother. I read that Wicket is an Australian Shepherd. He's a handsome puppy and it's such a shame he came down with a serious illness. Thank you for letting us know about Wicket, Janie Junebug.

    1. I want another dog, but I can't afford one. Really, I want lots of dogs, just so they feel loved.

    1. Bring weapons. We'll go from one city to another rescuing animals and doing something unkind to bad people who don't take care of children and animals.

  7. Don't you just love his name, Janie. So glad someone is taking him in, and so sad that he was abandoned. My puppies have hearts and feelings, so I'm guessing every abandoned dog does as well.

    1. All dogs have hearts and feelings. I'm not as sure about cats because some are rather aloof. I suppose it's an act they put on.

  9. Poor wee guy! Having said that, we had the same thing happen when we rescued the 'baby' Geraldo; he's now happy, healthy, and full of vinegar... I hope things turn out as well for Wicket.

I hope he'll be okay. Parvo is serious.

    1. I have seen two dogs online, a collie and a German Shepherd, whose faces reminded me so much of Faulkner that I wanted to run out to adopt them.
