Renee Nicole Good, 37, was murdered by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the car and to stop obstructing law enforcement, but she refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle and she attempted to run a law enforcement officer over.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz stated: From here on, I have a very simple message: We do not need any further help from the federal government. To Donald Trump and Kristi Noem, you’ve done enough.
To Americans who are watching this, if you’re in Portland or you’re in LA, or you’re in Chicago, or you’re wherever they’re coming next, stand with us. Stand with us against this.
And Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey called on the power of love: Next, a message to our community. Look, we all know that the agenda of this Trump administration is to create chaos. Let us respond right now with our best versions of self. This is a moment where all of us, in Minneapolis and beyond, we can rise to the occasion. We can show them who we are. We can show them the kind of courage, bravery, love and compassion that makes Minneapolis Minneapolis, and that makes America America.
Renee Nicole Good had a degree in English. She was a poet, writer, and parent of three. Good died a few blocks from where she lived. She was a US citizen and was described as an "observer" who was keeping an eye on ICE because she was concerned about her neighbors.

I had heard only here in the Land of Blog that a Citizen who was Young was Murdered, now you've filled in the Blanks for me since I didn't turn the TV on at all Yesterday to give myself a break from the American Nightmare and carnage, the chaos he's daily sowing on purpose to have justification to harm the Citizenry and be violent, unleashing his Goons upon good people he targets and doesn't want to represent. If you're not of the Extreme Far Right, he's not only NOT your President, he doesn't want to be and despises you. So anyone on the Left or the Middle Politically, is in imminent danger in America now.
ReplyDeleteYou're probably better off not watching the news. I watched for about an hour Thursday morning and ended up so angry that I didn't know how to deal with my feelings. You're correct when you say he despises us, but I think he also hates his followers. He has said they're stupid and uneducated, which he appreciates because it keeps them voting for him, but he doesn't like them.

ReplyDeleteThey never wanted ICE in Minnesota. The felon sent ICE there because of Somali immigrants, whom he describes as garbage. They are human beings -- not trash.

ReplyDeleteIt is sad, Hilary. I alternate between anger and sadness. If ICE were in my neighborhood, I would head out to observe them the same way Ms. Good did. Watching them and making videos of them is the only way to have honest accounts of their actions.
DeleteI felt sick watching the news on this. ICE told her to move and when she tried to move they killed her. Sickening. And the official responses by T and his goons were equally sickening. I hope there is justice for this woman.
ReplyDeleteI hope for justice, too, but I fear it will never come. All of those Jan. 6th rioters who went to prison were released as soon as the felon gained the presidency again. If the murderer is charged and convicted, and the felon is no longer in office, I fear someone else will come along who will pardon the killer.

ReplyDeleteThe Epstein files seemed to be a turning point, but this murder has taken attention away from the files and thrown support back to the felon because so many people are white nationalists and follow the party line that ICE agents are law enforcement and we have to obey them.
