HONEY, I'M HOME

 Dear Hearts and Gentle People,

I thought I should drop by to say hello so you know Princess and I are well. I haven't been blogging because I haven't had much to say.

I don't want to discuss the bruise on the 🟧 blockhead's hand or bring up his swollen legs for the kajillionth time. He's not going to drop dead from a bruise or some swelling. We aren't that lucky.

Alligator Auschwitz has been dismantled. Funny how

obeys some court orders.

All that money spent to build it; all that money spent to tear it down; people lose their benefits; the world keeps turning round.

I'll try to think of something to say to create a real blog post.

Infinities of love,

Janie Junebug

  2. I hope they keep Kristi's Koncentration Kamp open so that we can send all the fascists and the spineless GOP goose-steppers there for a good long stay.

    1. Wouldn't that be nice? If we visualize it, maybe we can make it happen.

  4. Funny, I was just thinking about you and here you post! Hope you are doing okay. I know the news is maddening. I have resorted to video gaming as an escape to reduce stress and keep my blood pressure down.

    1. It is stressful, isn't it? And it's not getting any better.

  5. Thank you for the cartoons. Funny, I always have something to say although it often isn't worth saying. I do anyway

  6. Oh, I needed some FarSide humor! I don't want to talk about the bruised, puffy orange man, either. Thank you so much.
    Hope you are doing okay?

    1. It's a little cooler here, which improves our lives. We love getting out of the house.

    1. Our critters are persistent, aren't they? Princess goes to the dog food storage bin to push her face against the lid in case it magically opens some day.

  8. About Voldemort: One can always hope!
In response to the cartoon showing Mr. Pig's trial: "Objection, your Honor. Irrelevant, and the prosecution is testifying, not asking a question." (Years of watching legal dramas... :-) )

  9. Don't feel bad....I have been gone since mid-August myself.

I keep hoping to wake one morning to the news he died or some murdered him. Otherwise, I hope you are keeping well.

    1. I noticed you'd been out gallivanting around. I check the headlines first thing every morning to see if my dream of a death has come true.

  10. So nice to see a post from you Janie! ☺ Doesn't matter what it's about but you know, your online friends get worried when you're gone for a long time. I'm glad you and Princess are okay. Cheers from Canada (where we hate the orange menace too)!

    1. Canadians have no reason to like or respect the felon in the white house. Americans don't either, but he'll have his followers no matter what he does.

  11. I keep saying that we have stepped into "The Twilight Zone" and oddly enough, part of an episode was shown on ...oh dear, I think it was The Daily Show. You know the one where the little boy (Billy Mumy) sends people to the corn fields to die if they don't agree with him?

    1. Yes! I remember that episode. The felon would send us all directly to hell if he could.

  12. Ha! Great cartoons. I miss "The Far Side."

Glad to hear you're doing OK. It's probably psychologically healthy not to reflect too much on the current state of the world. :/

  13. You have the very best comics. Thank you; I needed that!

  14. Haha! Thanks for the comics. Gary Larson's a genius.

    1. He certainly is. Sweet Cheeks looked at one of Larson's dog cartoons one day and said, Gary Larson really knows how to get inside the mind of a dog.

  15. Love that rhino one! Be interested to hear your thoughts on the Kirk killing.

    1. Kirk is all I'm hearing about now. Some people are being punished (fired from their jobs and harassed) for expressing their thoughts on that killing.

  16. Hi, Janie! I haven't been doing inconsistent blogging myself. It was awesome to see you visit my post today! Terry and I have been stressed out all summer from a major renovation. It's finally done, so I can focus on blogging and writing agin. I loved the Far Side funnies. I'm glad to hear you are hanging in there! Take care of yourself!
