Update: We have a tropical storm coming. I'm as prepared as I can be: I have my emergency weather radio, plenty of batteries and candles, non-perishable food, water, and I already set up my pumps in the backyard because my problem is most likely to be plenty of water in Lake Junebug. For now, the sun is shining and it's 90-something.
I'm not worried.
In fact, Alexa told me we had a tropical storm warning ending at 9 a.m. Aug. 29th. That time has passed, Alexa. Pull your head out, girl!

ReplyDeleteI love that description, and I would love for the GOP to find a nominee who is intelligent and dignified. I appreciate the way Chris Christie is standing up to say Trump is a liar and a con man. I don't know that he should be president, though. Maybe someone else needs to enter the race. It's certainly not too late. What do you think about Romney running again? I didn't vote for him before, but he's been standing up against Trump and has behaved well as far as I know. He's 76, though. We need some younger people!

DeleteYes to the practicing. I read today that an author who worked on his biography said Trump wanted to look like Churchill in his official White House photo a few years back. I'm sure he's trying to channel somebody in his mug shot but I'm not seeing who it might be :)

I can't think of another living American I find more despicable. We weathered the storm without much storm. It's been pretty windy and we had a little rain. That's it. I know other areas had it much worse.
