Willy Dunne Wooters and I decided to watch Moonstruck Saturday evening. It's a movie I love, and WDW had never seen it.
He took a shower before we watched. He came into the TV room draped in two towels, and lay down on the floor to hug Franklin.
The two lovers were right in front of me, and I noticed that WDW's little pink bottom was partially exposed. I leaned over and goosed him.
He was surprised. I laughed and said, You mooned me. Que bella luna!
He laughed. We enjoyed the movie.
Infinities of love,
Janie Junebug
Old Man: La bella luna! The moon brings the woman to the man. Capice?
So it's a movie worth watching, huh? Is a goosing considered the equivalent of the "Janie Junebug Highest Seal of Approval"? Also, two towels? Did you watch the movie in a Russian bath house? Who needs two towels? Unless he tied them together to make a toga. Are you two into historic cosplay?
ReplyDeleteHe wraps one towel around his waist, and the other goes over his shoulder. When I see him, I often say, Toga! Toga! Toga! A goose is my seal of approval for his bottom. I was happy to introduce him to Moonstruck. He enjoyed it.
Delete"SNAP OUT OF IT!"
ReplyDeleteGood morning, dear Janie Junebug!
Thanks for sharing this WDW TMI. I envy you. I want what you have...a dog and a nekked man lying at my feet.
I haven't seen Moonstruck since the late 80s. Thanks for reminding me that it's time to watch it again.
Happy Monday, dear friend Janie, and remember...
Cher and Cher alike.
It's always time to watch Moonstruck. I've been fond of Cher for many years.
DeleteWhat does it mean when you say that you "goosed him"?
ReplyDeleteIt means I pinched his little bottom.
DeleteI had to Google this movie because I've never heard of it. It's good? Even with Nicolas Cage and Cher? I mean, Nicolas Cage especially? The man famous for punching out a woman while wearing a bear costume?
ReplyDelete<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOpsbAUEe90>No, but really, though</a>
You've never heard of Moonstruck? Oi! What to do with you! Cher won the Best Actress Academy Award for this movie. You should Google her to see the outfit, or lack of one, that she wore to the awards. Olympia Dukakis won Best Supporting Actress for Moonstruck. It's a classic. Nic Cage is good in this one.
DeleteYou started off the movie on the perfect note. (I feel like I've just missed the perfect pun opportunity but I'll be damned if I can think of it)
ReplyDeleteBuena Note, Vebbie, et Bonne Nuit y Buenas Noches. I think that first buena might be wrong. I don't speak Italian. I speak LOVE.
DeleteHmm. I thought Bella Luna played Dracula! [rimshot]
ReplyDeleteBad. Very bad.
DeleteWell I'd say if he exposed his "little pink bottom" to you, he deserved the goose. I don't think I've seen Moonstruck, but will have to put it on my list.
ReplyDeleteOh, you must see Moonstruck. It's hilarious and so well made.
DeleteWonderful film!
ReplyDeleteAbsotively Poselutely.
DeleteThat was a great movie. Haven't seen it in a long time. Nice of Willie to offer you a view of the moon!
ReplyDeleteHe's generous that way.
DeleteLoved that movie!
ReplyDeleteIt's great.
DeleteMoonstruck is one of my all time favorite movies.
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone not love Moonstruck?
DeleteI LOVE that movie!! On the night Matt was married, Bud & I, Matt's in-laws, our other kids & their spouses & a half dozen other people were all in our hotel room, on the bed, the furniture & the floor, eating pizza & watching "Moonstruck"--what a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteAgain, I want to join your family.
DeleteMoonstruck is one of my favorite movies. I had to talk Hubzam into watching it the first time, but then he was hooked, too. It is so QUOTABLE! I love it.
ReplyDeleteRonny Cammareri: I love you.
Loretta Castorini: Snap out of it!
*****
Johnny: In time, you’ll see that this is the best thing.
Loretta Castorini: In time, you’ll drop dead and I’ll come to your funeral in a red dress.
*****
Cosmo Castorini: I don’t like him.
Rose: You’re not going to marry him, Cosmo. Do you love him, Loretta?
Loretta Castorini: No.
Rose: Good. When you love them they drive you crazy because they know they can.
(That is true.)
The lines are great because they're all true. I borrow the one about attending the funeral in a red dress when I mention X.
DeleteThat little trailer makes me want to go howl at the moon! ;0) Glad you and WDW had a good time!
ReplyDeleteI like to howl at the moon. Awoooooo! C'mon, Franklin. Howl with the mama and me.
DeleteI haven't seen it in forever...I don't remember it much. :/
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Franklin had a little Butt Buddy.

It's time to watch Moonstruck. Franklin adores Willy Dunne Wooters. I guess I do, too.
DeleteWe've watched that movie a dozen times but next time I'll try the WDW approach and see if I get lucky.
ReplyDeleteNever hurts to try.
DeleteOne of my all-time favorite movies. It never gets old and is also so quotable LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah. SNAP OUT OF IT!
DeleteDang, you two are cute :) And I LOVE that movie. I haven't seen it in years, so I think I'll have to rewatch it sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteI have it on videocassette, which doesn't have subtitles and doesn't have a good picture on a big screen TV. It probably never had a good picture. I discovered that Amazon has a lot of the older movies I love for $4 - $5, so I've purchased a few, including Moonstruck.
