Gentle Readers . . . and Maxwell,
I just went to the PO and found two cards for Margaret awaiting me: one from Hilary, and one from Nicki Elson. That brings us to 20 cards with 60 more to go.
I know a number of you have said you've mailed your cards this week, so I bet they'll be here on Friday . . . or so.
If you haven't gotten on the birthday bandwagon yet, my request is for birthday cards for my (former) mother-in-law, Margaret, who is turning 80. I want to send her 80 cards. Sending a card earns you 10 entries in my giveaway. Prizes are three books, two Amazon gift cards, one t-shirt, and $150 worth of editing by me. Please send cards for Margaret to

If you have a friend or relative who might send a card, please ask! Kianwi at simply she goes has gotten some of her friends to pitch in, and I appreciate it very much.
In fact, if you'd be willing to put the rafflecopter on your blog (and earn my undying love), here's the link to get the code: http://www.rafflecopter.com/rafl/share-code/ZmUxOTg5ZDg3MjA5YmQzYTNmYTM1ZDMwNTlmNTE0OjA=/
Coffey, I know you said that if you sent a card you'd have to say something nasty about X, but you are capable of putting a nice birthday card in the mail. NOW DO IT!
If you haven't sent a card, then don't make me pick on you because you know what will happen? I'll send The Hurricane after you. You will be so sorry.
Thank you very much for your help!
I'll put the giveaway rafflecopter at the bottom of this post.
Infinities of love,

ReplyDeleteThat's one more reason to love you.
DeleteI plan to go to town on Friday again and could send you a card then if it will be in time for her birthday. Please let me know.
ReplyDeleteIt would be in time. Thanks for the offer.
DeleteI better run to the post office before the Storm blows my way.
ReplyDeleteRun, Peaches, run!
DeletePlease don't send The Hurrcane after me. You should have my card by now.
ReplyDeleteI have it, but I might send The Hurricane to visit you anyway. Mwahahahahahaha. And you thought the Mafia was scary.
DeleteCheck my posts for today & Friday!!
ReplyDeleteI certainly shall. Thank you!
DeleteMine's on the way! Glad you're getting cards for your ex- MIL!
ReplyDeleteI received yours, Sherry. Thank you.
DeleteWhen i was small i had the habit of sending post cards but now it is difficult for me to get a one since i don't go out...
ReplyDeleteThat's okay. I'm sorry it's difficult for you to go out.
DeleteI sent two cards, one from me and one from exbf. He does not live here, but I put my address on the envelope because I don't know his return address. So, Linda and Tommy from AL is from me. I had the cards sealed, but they did not seal, so I tried tape, but had none. That's why the clear shipping tape is on both cards. The cards should be there by Thursday. I forgot her name, so her name is not on the cards.
ReplyDeleteOh good, glad it arrived. :) I'm involved in a blog hop today, but I'll get your Rafflecopter up at my place tomorrow & will Tweet every day.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I love you!
DeleteYou should have mine already. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I can make another one.
Yes, I have yours, and I just went to the PO and five more were in my box.
DeleteMy birthday card to Margaret is hurtling your way via a large white jumbo jet (posted yesterday) But, don't forget it's coming from New Zealand and will take a while.
