TWO LOVERS IN LOVE
Two lovers in love
laughed at the sea,
laughed as the waves splashed the shore.
The water was cold
and it tickled their toes
and they laughed
and sang la la la laa.
Two lovers in love
loved though as one, and
laughed as the waves splashed the shore.
The water was warm
and it licked at their toes
and they laughed
and sang la la la laa.
Two lovers in love
labored as one, and
laughed as the waves splashed the shore.
The waters burst last
and fell to the floor.
They laughed at the shore,
three laughed, and then four
and they laughed
and sang la la la laa.
:)

ReplyDeleteThank you. Nice You.
DeleteLove this, my friend! You have quite the poetic talent. There is so much wonderful laughter in the sweetness of love~
ReplyDeleteLaughter heals and brings people together.
DeleteThey have doubled three stanzas. It must be something in the water. Perhaps they should stand ON the shore away from the water.
ReplyDeleteThey're in big trouble and they don't know it yet.
DeleteAwesome and I love the picture.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brandon. You're a sweetie.
DeleteThis is what laughing and tickled toes gets. Good poem.
ReplyDeleteIt sure does.
DeleteLa la la laa. Yep, that's pretty much how it works! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe Mama knows.
DeleteNice. I love writing songs, but I've never written a poem I'm happy with :(
