Wasn't in labor, just was compelled to go...period. An hours drive in heavy traffic...long story short--went into labor shortly after I got there, 45 minutes later (doctor just made it in time) Dagan was born. The cord was wrapped so tightly around his neck that he was being choked (doctor had to cut the cord from around his neck in order for him to be able to be born) and would have suffocated had we been in the car en route to the hospital. He has always had angels watching over him. ;) Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02043285884495492598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4501852053743373610.post-53867489236707562112012-10-09T05:23:09.177-04:002012-10-09T05:23:09.177-04:00We couldn't do it without you men!We couldn't do it without you men!Janie Junebughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10573607241326291404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4501852053743373610.post-34653195689557373952012-10-09T05:22:47.667-04:002012-10-09T05:22:47.667-04:00He was probably in a fog after everything that had...He was probably in a fog after everything that had just happened.Janie Junebughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10573607241326291404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4501852053743373610.post-77877620194858262662012-10-09T00:22:04.826-04:002012-10-09T00:22:04.826-04:00Don't envy y'all at ALL, but thankfully y&...Don't envy y'all at ALL, but thankfully y'all are willing to do the HARD work to birth a child. I pushed for 3.5 hours, (I'll spare you the really gross stuff) and bruised his head with my pelvis, which he was in fact stuck in.

Youngest was 27 hours, I labored a large chunk of which in the hot tub which was fabulous. Not progressing, they broke my water, which landed him on his cord, so they had to do an amniotic-infusion to float him back up. Then the monitor they stuck in his head didn't work... five monitors later they found one that did. He was critical twice and had to stop my labor, and as soon as I was wheeled into the c-section room, he started behaving. All and all... he was born natural, and has been paying me back ever since.

The doctor said that if I wanted any more I should plan on a c-section since while I can carry babies beautifully, delivery is a nightmare. Now the only way I'd do it again is as a surrogate for my sister, but she already has two so it looks like I'm off the hook. :)Julihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10097214923216967086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4501852053743373610.post-41629770505319344202012-10-08T09:39:57.983-04:002012-10-08T09:39:57.983-04:00I had a similar experience with my 2nd as well.
