Halloween really is a major event for some and judging by the lawn decorations around here people are willing to spend serious money too. Hope they have good treats for the kids.
I like a more tasteful decoration, if that's possible. Mistress Maddie had some on her blog, and there was one where the homeowners hung witches' hats from wire floating above their yard. THAT was cool! xoxo

ReplyDeleteI'm sure the kids haven't suffered from a lack of sugar.
DeleteOoooooo, that big spider on the web!
ReplyDeleteI think that's cute, but my favorite is the skeletons on the ferris wheel.
DeleteHave lots of fun in the 'Hood' ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to be able to say I like my neighborhood. One neighbor was playing spooky music last night while he handed out treats.

I'm not sure what's tasteful when it comes to Halloween. The kids in the neighborhood probably enjoy the decorations.
DeleteAmericans take their Halloween seriously! I'm seeing more decorations in the UK than I used to as well.
ReplyDeleteThis is the only placed I've lived where people actually decorate for Halloween.
DeleteThey go all out there too! That first house is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised by all the decorations around here, but my neighborhood has a decorating contest.
DeleteWow. I told you that we don't do Halloween. The stores are trying to encourage us and ONE house in my area has a bit of fake spider web up.
ReplyDeleteIt's another way for retailers to make some money.
DeleteI love to see what people have done for the day!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun time of year!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing the decorations but never wanted to put them up myself--LOL! Same with any of the holidays, really. ;)
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen decorations in our hood, except in some shops.
ReplyDeleteMay you get many tricks, with some treats on the side (top or bottom).
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
Love you.
Looking good
ReplyDeleteQuite a hood you live in ;0
ReplyDeleteLike the huge spider..looking at those birdies for lunch?
ReplyDeleteLooks like your 'hood is into Halloween in a big way! ☺ Some people here also have elaborate decorations. We skip the whole thing.
