To bring you up to date on the daily doings of your Queen, a blog post seems in order.
- I continue to edit two books. I remain the glad grammarian, the vixen of the verb, and the abductor of the adjective. An author who will remain Nameless (could she be fishducky's daughter?) said that I'm driving her crazy. I replied, I drive everyone crazy. Ask my children.
- Tomorrow (Tuesday, September 22nd) is Blog Child Rachel's birthday. I expect you to leave grandiose birthday wishes for her on her blog, When A Lion Sleeps, Let It Sleep. I'll issue a reminder, so no excuse will be acceptable.
- Middle Child married Mike. *sob* *sniffle* *happy tears*
my angel 4.I received a kind Tweet from Angelo Guglielmo: |
Good luck with all your editing! Keeps you out of trouble--maybe? LOL! ;)
ReplyDeleteNothing keeps me out of trouble.
DeleteThe Woman Who Wasn't There is a real profile in narcissistic need for attention. I double your recommendation. Congrats to MIddle Child! And, "abductor of the adjective"? Are you holding the adjective ransom? Also, with nicknames like that, you have a future in professional wrestling, at least writing their nicknames.
ReplyDeleteI took two film classes in college. Both professors said I should write the blurbs that describe the movies on the back of videocassette boxes. No one had dreamed of the DVD yet. Angelo will be pleased with your approbation.
DeleteA beautiful bride. A long and happy life!
ReplyDeleteTo life!
DeleteHi, dear Janie Junebug!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter looks beautiful. Congratulations and best wishes to her and Mike! It's way cool that you have become NBF's with movie director Angelo Guglielmo. (Last night I had a beer with Alfred Hitchcock. He said it's okay if I call him "Hitch.") I already told Mrs. Shady about that documentary and she's "psyched."
Happy Monday, dear friend Janie!
Liar, liar, pants on fire, hanging from the telephone wire. Mrs. Shady did not say she's psyched, but it's way cool you are friends with Hitch.
DeleteBusy is good! What a lovely bride. Gorgeous dress.
ReplyDeleteI made them myself. The bride and the dress.
DeleteYour angel is beautiful, and congrats on the wedding.
ReplyDeleteI accept only the finest in children. Of course, they're all the finest.
DeleteYour daughter is stunning!
ReplyDeleteShe looks just like me.
DeleteHi Janie - sounds like life is busy and that's the way it's meant to be - good luck with all - and Middle Child looks positively delightful and stunningly beautiful ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteMiddle Child looks exactly like me.
DeleteThat documentary was fascinating!!
ReplyDeleteAngelo said he's glad you like it.
DeleteHow cool you guys are *close* friends now! LOL (That totally qualifies in my head as BFFs) Congratulation to Middle Child! She looked stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd my dear grammarian, have fun with the edits! :D
I love having famous people as my close, personal friends, and that includes you, Katherine.
DeleteBirthdays and weddings, excitement all around! Your daughter is beautiful. (Fully prepared here for edits from the grammarian)
ReplyDeleteYes, she is beautiful. She looks just like me.
DeleteThe middle child looks pretty.
ReplyDeleteThat's because she looks like me.
DeleteYour daughter looks beautiful! Very elegant. Congrats on editing and keep being a grammar gal. I heard of this documentary and it sounds like it would be great to watch
ReplyDeleteYou can certainly tell that Middle Child belongs to me. Angelo and I think you will love the documentary.
DeleteSo it’s congratulations and best wishes all round. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Middle Child! That dress is beautiful! I love how simple and elegant it is.
ReplyDeleteHave fun editing! I need to find some editors to critique my poems. Ah, book work!
I enjoyed making the dress for her, in spite of my complete inability to sew.
DeleteMiddle child is certainly a looker!
ReplyDeleteOne would never expect otherwise of my beloved children.
DeleteCongrats on the wedding! That's cool that you talked with Angelo Guglielmo on Twitter. I'm always surprised when famous people actually reply on Twitter. I don't know why, I just imagine they're more busy?
ReplyDeleteMaybe he doesn't think he's famous. Maybe he thinks he's a regular person like us schlubs. Not that you're a schlub. I'm a schlub.
DeleteMy Goodness you have been busy !
ReplyDeleteDaughter is outstanding beautiful and the dress is wonderful.
All I can say is Fabulous !
Thank you for your very kind words about Watson.
